Projects

A series of projects have helped the schools maximise and extend much-needed space for pupils and staff in these popular local schools.

At the Infant school, we created a larger first floor staff room above a classroom within the original Victorian building. We designed a new light-filled entrance atrium to improve access to the office for parents and visitors while maintaining security and reducing crowding at busy times.

At the Junior school, we designed the new Jubilee classroom, filling a gap between existing classrooms. To get best value from the budget, it reused walls and windows from the existing structure. Inside, there is an uninterrupted open area with no supports and plenty of natural light, to give the biggest and brightest learning space possible.

We have developed a trusted relationship with the school team. Scheduling the work around school life was crucial: most of it was completed outside termtime.
