The client wanted to extend the house to better suit the needs of the family, to create eating space in the kitchen, a utility and extra bedroom space at first floor.
We added a two storey side extension, moving the main entrance to the front of the house and extending single storey across the rear.
Large sliding folding doors to the rear of the kitchen and play room with rooflights above allow light to flood back into the centre of the house.
Smaller alterations to the stairs allow for extra cupboard space, and a large storage area to the front retains space for bikes and lawnmowers.
