The client had a series of separate rooms, kitchen, dining, utility and shower room, but nowhere in the house gave the large flexible space needed to accommodate regular meals with their children and growing families.

We opened up the space and relocated the kitchen to give a large dining/seating area with better connection to the garden and maximizing the existing volume.

By working closely with the builder and by monitoring the project throughout, further options were considered along the way, allowing the vaulting of the existing roof space and improving the airy, spacious atmosphere within the new room.
The project was completed within a specific time-frame while the client was out of the country.
